1. Register for an Account
Click the Register button in the top-right corner of the home page.
Fill in the required information and you’ll receive a confirmation email. Click the link in the email to activate your account.
2. Log In
After activation, log in to your account. At this point, you can add your address and PayPal details.
3. Create Your First WantAd
Now you’re ready to create your WantAd. Click the New WantAd button.
4. Add a Title
In the Title box, type the name of the item, event, or service you’re looking for. Make it short, descriptive, and to the point.
5. Choose a Category
From the dropdown menu in the Category box, select the most relevant category for your WantAd. This helps it reach the right audience. If you can’t find it, scroll to locate it.
6. Write a Description
Provide a clear and detailed description of what you’re looking for. The more specific you are, the better your chances of receiving high-quality offers.
7. Set a Price & Location
Specify the price you’re willing to pay and your location. This helps sellers know what to offer and where you are.
8. Upload an Image
If you have an image, upload it. Just be mindful that public images may be copyrighted and should only be used with permission.
9. Set an Expiry Date
Choose the expiry date for your WantAd. Note: you won’t be able to change this later.
10. Submit Your WantAd
Once everything looks good, hit Submit! You’re done. Now wait for the offers to come in.
Need to make changes?
If you’ve made a mistake or want to update your WantAd, simply click Amend WantAd, make the necessary changes, and save.
